Rio Hondo Circuit of GP Argentina, History and Profile

Today I'll discuss about history and profile of the circuit in Argentina. A circuit that will be used in the motoGP race tomorrow Thursday 27 April. Many interesting things for us to discuss about this circuit. We start with the straight circuit profile.

The Termas de Río Hondo Circuit is located 6km from the city which gives the venue its name, in the Province of Santiago del Estero. It was built in a 150 hectare area and officially inaugurated on May 11, 2008, during the visit of Argentina´s Touring Car Racing championship. In 2012, the reconditioning, enlargement and modernization of the circuit began, with the purpose of turning it into Latin America’s most modern, safe and vibrant circuit.
Now I will discuss about the history of this circuit.

1961 – the last in this year's Event was held in Buenos Aires, which is the first time that the event title of the grand prix was held outside the continent of blue Europe. not all ' top rider ' in current opportunities and 500cc GP successfully won by Jorge Kissling which is an Argentine racing driver.  Here are the class records the history of the 125 GP important when Challenger champion Ernst Degner from East Germany did not start racing until dimenanglkan by the Australian racing driver Tom Phillis so Phillis officially took over the title of world champion and the title was the first for Honda in the 125cc class.

1963 – The world champion Mike Hailwood raced in argentina for the first time with MV Agusta and phenomenal manufacturers dominate the laps of all racers and completing 6 laps before the riders who finish placed 6th. On the other occasion Hugh Anderson with the Suzuki team again won the racing class 50cc, while Jim Redman won the 125cc in school classrooms; from Honda and 250cc Tarquinio Today in school classrooms; give the final victory to the Morini.
1981 - 1982  After a gap of 17 years had passed, the Grand Prix was held again in Argentina in 1981 based in Buenos Aires. In 1981, grand prix racing has evolved into three categories namely class 125cc, 250cc and 350cc. and victories won by Angel Nieto, Jean-Francois Balde and Jon Ekerold dimasing-masing classes are held.  In 1982, it was only 500cc victory included and owned by Kenny Roberts from tough competition with Barry Sheene and third place earned Freddie Spencer. Spencer also when it's the middle of his made his debut with the new engine 2-stroke 3 cylinders. Angel Nieto gave a first grand prix victory Garelli in the 125cc class and Carlos Lavado wins the race category 350.
1987 – Argentina GP back in the vacuum. Until then 4 years later in 1987 was held again in argentina as the series ' last race. At present there is only 250cc and 500cc racing class with Sito Pons is a category dimasing-masing and Eddie Lawson.
1994 - 1995, 1998 - 1999 – During the 1990s Argentina GP MotoGP has hosted as many as four chances, but not as a permanent circuit MotoGP. In 1994, Jorge Martinez confirmed the 37th GP victories throughout his career in MotoGP. This year is also the last time for Yamaha became champions in the 125cc class.   Perhaps the most important events in this period exist in the 250cc class in 1998. At the moment Loris Capirossi and Tetsuya Harada which are on one team, arrived in Argentina is only two points. Meanwhile, last season at Rio Hondo in GP, Emilio Alzamora finished in second place at once established itself as MotoGP champion in 1999.
